I think this is pretty neat, an impromptu jazz classic by Weir, great piano by Jeff, Oteill is all in, Mickey wants to dance. Good news too that voodoonola is on the scene.

I don't imagine anyone cares for a Deadco 46 minute soundcheck. Mayer is leading it throughout. The best part is them listening to Pigpen singing it on their IPhone.

"Do you feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?

I gotts-ta-know?

(on the later, all I can think of is, no, it ain't loaded any more...).

Ahem.

I actually saw Weir play "Misty" once! It was with Ratdog during the brief period when Johnnie Johnson (of Chuck Berry piano - and if you believe Keith Richards, songwriting - fame) was the piano player. It's a bit of a blur, but I think it was just Bob and Johnnie. Some people were unhappy (WTF?!? DO ESTIMATED PROPHET!!!), but I thought it was genius.

It's OK, there's always good conversation.

What did you say the song was?
I didn't say.

A band's got to know its limitations.

I gotta hand it to you SDH, that last one is brilliant. "Marvelous" you might even say.

Perhaps my favorite Clint line that translates almost perfectly.

You say that like it's a bad thing. Mr. Mathis is the epitome of smooth.
